Public Library of Science (PLoS)  The Public Library of Science is a nonprofit organization of scientists and physicians dedicated to making the world’s scientific and medical literature freely available public resources. Subjects include biology, medicine, computational biology, genetics, pathogens, and neglected tropical diseases.

PubMed PubMed is a service of the U.S. National Library of Medicine that includes over 17 million citations from MEDLINE and other life science journals for biomedical articles back to the 1950s. PubMed includes links to full text articles and other related resources.

SPARC  The Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition is an international alliance of academic and research libraries working to correct the imbalances in the scholarly publishing system.
